Steps to Removing a Tree Stump:

Clear the area around the stump for ease of movement. Remove stones and rocks to prevent them from damaging the grinder.
2. With a chainsaw, cut the stump as much as possible. This will make the process of grinding the stump faster.
3. Take the grinder closer to the stump and then start it.
4. Lower the cutting wheel and start grinding the stump by moving the grinder from side to side.
5. Grind the stump to four inches below the ground.
6. Also, grind up any visible roots.
7. If the stump is near property or equipment, barricade the area to prevent the wood chips from damaging that area.
If it is a DIY job, be sure to wear the correct protective gear, and ensure pets and children are not nearby when grinding the tree stump. It is advisable to hire a professional for stump grinding as they have the know-how and necessary equipment.
